Spendthrift Farm’s Grade 1 winner Rock Your World was represented by his first winner as a sire on May 15 at Churchill Downs when his first starter Color Comin’ In scored a three-length victory in a five-furlong maiden special weight affair for 2-year-old fillies.

The impressive performance netted the dark bay juvenile a TDN ‘Rising Star’ tag.

Color Comin’ In quickly overcame a bit of trouble at the break to put herself into contention in the first furlong. She was third behind dueling pacesetters around the turn, then expertly cut the corner coming into the stretch to quickly open up a two-length lead. With a very strong run down the lane, she finished well ahead of a late-charging Americathegreat to stop the timer in :58.14 on a fast track.

Color Comin’ In is owned by CKDS Racing Stable, LLC and was purchased for $100,000 on behalf of her owners by trainer Justin Casse at the 2025 OBS March 2-year-old sale. She was bred in Kentucky by Tomislav Mitrovski.

Rock Your World was a dominant winner of the Santa Anita Derby (G1), which was his first start on the main track and followed his win in the grassy Pasadena S. Currently standing for $5,000, Rock Your World has bred an average of 130 mares in his first three seasons at Spendthrift.
