Vekoma, who is currently dominating the Second-Crop sire list in nearly every category, made a splash Tuesday at the Keeneland September sale when his first offering of the marathon auction brought a top bid of $850,000.

From the St. George Sales, Agent consignment, hip No. 206 was purchased by Resolute Bloodstock.

The gray/roan filly is out of Vigui’s Heart, who is also the dam of the Malibu Moon colt Valiant Force, who won the Norfolk S. (G2) in Great Britain before finishing second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint (G1).

Vekoma will be represented well through the remainder of the Keeneland sale, with 62 lots cataloged through closing day, Sept. 20.
