Rock Your World surges to No. 2 on the First-Crop Sires List after trio of MdSpWt winners

Rock Your World has caught fire with his debut crop of 2-year-olds, siring 3 new MdSpWt winners in 4 days from Sept. 17-20 to surge to No. 2 on the First-Crop Sires List in North America.

His fillies American Taylor and Miss Fulton Gal captured MdSpWt races on back to back days in Louisiana and Delaware, respectively, before his colt Star Sweeper won a MdSpWt race on the Pennsylvania Derby undercard Saturday at Parx.

They join early winners that include Breeders’ Cup contender Taken By the Wind, the undefeated debutante that recently captured the Pocahontas S. (G3) at Churchill Downs, as well as other stakes-placed performers already at Saratoga, Gulfstream Park, and Churchill Downs.

Now with 12 winners total, Rock Your World ranks No. 2 behind fellow Spendthrift freshman sire Yaupon by Winners, Stakes Horses, and Earnings entering the fourth week in September.
