Into Mischief represented across the board in Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup

Into Mischief has five entries on the card for Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup championship, including last year’s 2-year-old champion male Citizen Bull in the Dirt Mile (G1).
Into Mischief’s day starts with Bring Theband Home in the Turf Sprint (G1), race 5 at 3:41 pm ET. The Live Oak Plantation homebred won both the Troy S. (G2) and Harvey Pack S. this summer at Saratoga and has earned $508,556 lifetime. Bring Theband Home drew post five and will be ridden by Javier Castellano for trainer Mark Casse.
In the $2 million Sprint (G1), race 6 at 4:21 pm ET, Into Mischief has the duo of Imagination (post 7) and American Stage (post 9). Imagination, winner of the Santa Anita Sprint Championship (G2) in his most recent start for SF Racing, Starlight Racing, Madaket Stables, Stonestreet Stables, Dianne Bashor, Robert Masterson, Waves Edge Capital, Catherine Donovan, & Tom Ryan, is trained by Bob Baffert and was bred by Peter Blum Thoroughbreds.
American Stage ships from Japan, where the 3-year-old has been favored in all but one of his races. Bred by Spendthrift Farm, the bay colt sold to Yoshizawa Holdings for $500,000 at the 2023 Keeneland September Yearling sale.
Citizen Bull drew post 7 in the 10-horse field for the Dirt Mile, which runs as race 11 at 7:45 pm ET. The 3-year-old has won three of four lifetime starts at Del Mar, including a 5 ½-length romp in the Shared Belief S. on Aug. 31, his most recent start. Bred in Kentucky by Robert and Lawana Low, Citizen Bull is owned by SF Racing, Starlight Racing, Madaket Stables, Stonestreet Stables, Dianne Bashor, Determined Stables, Robert Masterson, Tom Ryan, Waves Edge Capital & Catherine Donovan.
