Anitope the first winner for champion Jackie’s Warrior
June 26, 2026

Jackie’s Warrior had his first winner Friday at Colonial Downs when the 2-year-old filly Antiope streaked to a front-running score in a 5 ½-furlong maiden special weight affair on the main track in her career debut.
Owned by Amy Moore and trained by Jane Cibelli, Antiope broke alertly under Paco Lopez and assumed command just after the break. She rolled through early fractions of :22.66 and :45.88 to open up a three-length lead with a furlong to run. The bay filly was strong through the lane and held off Bravojuliet to stop the clock in 1:04.57.
Antiope is the first foal out stakes winner Strong Beauty and was bred in Kentucky by South Gate Farm, LLC.
Jackie’s Warrior, the champion male sprinter of 2021 and a five-time Grade One winner of nearly $3 million, stands for $25,000 S&N. In his first three seasons at stud, he bred an average of 177 mares. Thus far in 2026, his 2-year-olds have averaged $267,000 at auction, more than 10 times his stud fee.
