Jimmy Creed mare repeats in G3 Hendrie S.

July 25, 2026

Creed’s Gold overpowered her competition with a powerful stretch run to score her second consecutive win in the Hendrie S. (G3) July 25 at Woodbine.

The 5-year-old mare has three career stakes wins and has earned $516,264 for owner Kristin Meldah.

Creed’s Gold broke on top before easing back behind the speedy duo of Kehoe Beach and Without Cause, who ran 1-2 for the first half-mile. Creed’s Gold had a full head of steam as she came up the rail turning for home and rolled past Kehoe Beach with a furlong to run. She opened up from there to win by 1 ½-lengths.

“Last season (in the 2025 Hendrie) she went to the lead, broke good,” said winning rider Rafael Hernandez. “You know, today good, but it was a lot of speed. So you can see, you can do anything you want with her.”

Creed’s Gold was bred in Kentucky by Linda Griggs and is out of Foxyfromfairbanks.
