Conagher turned in arguably the most visually impressive performance thus far at the Keeneland meet with his dominating victory in a six-furlong allowance contest on Wednesday.

The 3-year-old Jimmy Creed colt vied for the early lead then powered clear from the field before the quarter pole, rocketing through the stretch to win by 6 ¾-lengths in a lightning-quick 1:09.95 over a “good” main track.

His Beyer Speed Figure of 97 is higher than both Kentucky Derby-bound 3-year-olds White Abarrio’s number from his Florida Derby (G1) win and Mo Donegal’s figure in winning last weekend’s Wood Memorial S. (G2).

Conagher is owned by Patricia’s Hope LLC and Mark Farrar and sports a 2-2-1 mark from six starts, with earnings of $125,173. He was bred in Kentucky by La Bahia Stud Inc.

Jimmy Creed, the sire of four champions, was named a 2022 TDN Value Sire by Chris McGrath. He stands this year for $10,000 S&N.
