Mia Mischief coasts in Churchill’s Dream Supreme S.

November 1, 2019

Mia Mischief made short work of the competition in Saturday’s $120,000 Dream Supreme S. at Churchill Downs, cruising by five lengths to give the 4-year-old daughter of Into Mischief her fifth stakes win.

Winner of the Humana Distaff (G1) earlier this year and the Eight Belles S. (G2) in 2018, Mia Mischief is 8-6-1 in 19 starts and has earned $1,083,834.

Mia Mischief broke well and settled just off the pace set by Shanghai Tariff and Skamania. After a half-mile in a quick :45.21, Mia Mischief made her move and swiftly opened up by three lengths to glide home in 1:09.50 for the six furlongs on a fast main track.

“She ran extremely well today. She was well in hand the entire race and just did everything as easy as possible,” said Leparoux.

Mia Mischief sold to her owners Bill and Corinne Heiligbrodt for $300,000 at the 2017 Fasig-Tipton March 2-year-old sale. She was bred by Spendthrift Farm and is out of the Speightstown mare Greer Lynn, whose siblings include graded stakes winners Sing Baby Sing and Roll Hennessy Roll, as well as Grade 1-placed Value Plus.
