My Prankster delivered Into Mischief yet another graded stakes winner in Saturday’s $100,000 Swale S. (G3), going some four-wide into the stretch to best Dean Delivers by a half-length.

My Prankster is the sixth stakes winner this year for Into Mischief, whose progeny earnings are already over $3.3 million for 2022.

In post 1 for the seven-furlong race, My Prankster and jockey Luis Saez took back off the pace, but were never more than four lengths from the front. In Dreams posted a half-mile of :44.87. My Prankster was behind horses and had no option other than to go around them coming into the stretch. Dean Delivers had taken a short lead, but My Prankster had him measured and won handily in 1:23.13 on the fast main track.

“We were concerned about the ‘1’ draw. It cost him a little position early and you could see when he was getting dirt in his face, he wasn’t liking it. He was climbing the first eighth of a mile,” said trainer Todd Pletcher, who won last Saturdays’ Pegasus World Cup Inv. (G1) with the Into Mischief colt Life Is Good. “Luis was able to get him out in the clear. The key part of the race, in the middle of the turn, he put in a big run to catch up.”

My Prankster was named a TDN Rising Star when he won his Aug. 21 debut at Saratoga by 10 lengths. He ran second in the Oct. 30 Bowman Mill S. at Keeneland and is now 3-1-0 in five starts and has earned $208,780 for Robert and Lawana Low, who purchased the colt for $600,000 out of the 2020 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Select Yearlings sale.

My Prankster is the first foal out of My Wandy’s Girl, who was a champion in Puerto Rico and a two-time Grade 2 winner in the U. S.
