Hullabaloo Ray Ray the first TDN ‘Rising Star’ for Jackie’s Warrior

Hullabaloo Ray Ray capped an excellent week for Jackie’s Warrior with his TDN ‘Rising Star’ maiden win Saturday at Belmont Park.

Currently second on the 2026 First-Crop sire list, Jackie’s Warrior had three maiden special weight winners and a pair of graded stakes-placed colts over the past seven days.

Hullaboo Ray Ray, a good second to the highly-regarded Dargham in his Sept. 7 debut, was the prohibitive favorite in Saturday’s 6 ½-furlong affair for 2-year-olds. After starting a beat slow, the flashy chestnut quickly made his way into second without any urging. He sat comfortably in second around the turn the easily went by the pacesetter Louisiana Baby just after turning for home. He bounded clear of the field to win by 4 ½-lengths over Art Museum, himself a $1.5 million son of Into Mischief, in 1:15.27 on a fast track.

Hullaboo Ray Ray, the 15^th overall winner for Jackie’s Warrior, is owned by Glen Hill Farm, who purchased him for $250,000 at the 2024 Fasig-Tipton Fall Mixed sale. Hullabaloo Ray Ray was bred in Kentucky by Hunter Valley Farm.
