Into Mischief filly earns fourth stakes win

June 1, 2013

Sittin At the Bar, a 3-year-old filly from the debut crop of leading young sire Into Mischief, earned the fourth stakes victory of her young and promising racing career, proving best as the favorite in the $50,000 Acadiana S. on May 31 at Evangeline Downs.
Trained by Brett Brinkman, Sittin At the Bar raised her earnings to $322,140 for owner Dale Ladner, who purchased her as a yearling for $30,000. The talented bay filly also won the Louisiana Champions Day Lassie S. and Louisiana Futurity last year at two, and has also captured the Crescent City Oaks at Fair Grounds this year at three. Sittin At the Bar owns a record of 5-2-1 from 10 starts, which includes placing in the Grade 3 Delta Princess S. as a 2-year-old.

Out of the stakes-winning Mutakddim mare Fast Laner, she was bred in Louisiana by Spendthrift Farm LLC.
