Maximus Mischief’s Glengarry scores sixth stakes victory

Glengarry led every step of the way in the $100,000 Dan Johnson S. Sept. 26 at Prairie Meadows to give the 5-year-old son of Maximus Mischief his sixth career stakes win.

Standing out under the lights in Saturday night’s six-furlong contest, Glengarry made the lead immediately and was under no pressure through a half-mile of :44.24. Relishing the off-going, Glengarry opened up to three lengths in midstretch, then comfortably held sway in 1:09.25 over the muddy track.

The winner is owned by Aaron Kennedy, Toby Joseph and Doug Anderson. The well-travelled gray/roan won both the Bowman Mill S. and Lafayette S. at Keeneland and is 8-6-0 in 18 starts and has earned $755,892. Glengarry was bred by Highpoint Bloodstock.
