Mitole filly gets breakthough win in $200,000 Remington Park Oaks

Rileytole, twice Grade 1-placed as a 2-year-old, turned in a big performance to win the $200,000 Remington Park Oaks on Sept. 27, earning the 3-year-old Mitole filly her first stakes win.

Rileytole is one of 14 stakes horses this term for Mitole, who is currently third on the 2026 Fourth-Crop sire list.

Unhurried from the gate, Rileytole was at the back of a very compact five-horse filed through the first five furlongs, never more than three lengths off the lead at any point. Taken four-wide on the final turn, she moved up steadily to contest the lead turning for home. After a three-way battle for a furlong, Rileytole pulled away in the late going to win by nearly two lengths.

Rileytole is owned by Bill and Corinne Heiligbrodt and is now 2-1-1 in six starts and has earned $265,115. She was beaten just a nose in the Frizette S. (G1) and was third in the Spinaway S. (G1) as a 2-year-old. The bay filly was bred by Don and Jackie Duppenthaler & Wade and Donna Russell.
