Mitole filly proves to good in Nellie Morse S.

Atlantis Queen swept past the pacesetters in upper stretch on her way to a 4 ¼-length victory in the $100,000 Nellie Morse S. on Valentine’s Day at Laurel Park.

With more than 30 stakes horses, Mitole is approaching $20 million in lifetime progeny earnings. After finishing second on the 2025 Third-Crop sire list, he is in the same position on this year’s Fourth-Crop list.

Atlantis Queen, who was seeking her first stakes win, was midpack through the first five furlongs before she began a three-wide move entering the final bend. Her momentum carried her to the lead turning for home and continued in the stretch as she won with plenty of energy in reserve.

The winner is owned by Pocket 3’s Racing LLC and has now earned $158,755. She was bred in New York by ZBS Thoroughbreds.
