Vino Rosso’s Kerry’s Kiss rides four-race winning streak into Breeders’ Cup
October 29, 2026
Kerry’s Kiss looks to extend her winning streak to five in Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) at Keeneland when she breaks from post 8 in the seven-furlong dash.
The 4-year-old daughter of Vino Rosso has won three straight stakes after an allowance win in April, most recently scoring in the Princess Rooney S. (G3), using her natural speed to win gate-to-wire.
Kerry’s Kiss is trained by Saffie Joseph, Jr. and will be ridden by Edwin Gonzalez. She is 6-6-1 in 18 lifetime starts and has earned $437,550 for owners BAG Racing Stables, Epic Horses, and The White House Stables. The bay filly was bred in Kentucky by Virginia Moore & Malia Hopkins and is a direct descendant of Susan’s Girl, who was the first filly to ever win $1 million, a three-time champion and a first-ballot Racing Hall of Fame inductee.
Saturday’s Filly & Mare Sprint, race 4, drew a field of 13 and will run at 1:10 pm ET.
Vino Rosso, who will stand for $7,500 S&N in 2027, is currently second behind only Omaha Beach on the Fourth-Crop Sire list. He has accounted for eight stakes horses this year, topped by Haskell Inv. (G1) winner Baby Vino.
