October 29, 2026

Top-10 First-Crop sire Greatest Honour will have his first starter in the Breeders’ Cup Friday at Keeneland with the undefeated 2-year-old filly Vanta in the $1 million Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1).

Vanta has been perfect in her three starts to date, coming from off the pace with a strong stretch run. After a sprint maiden debut win, she took both the Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Turf and Santa Anita’s Surfer Girl S. (G3), each at the same mile distance as the Breeders’ Cup .

Vanta drew post 7 in the 14-horse field for trainer Jeff Mullins and jockey Umberto Rispoli.

Owned by Dutch Girl Holdings LLC and Irving Ventures LLC, Vanta has earned $168,000. The dark bay filly was bred in New York by Sequel Thoroughbreds LLC, Lakland Farm & Truly Thoroughbreds Inc and sold for $370,000 at the 2026 OBS March sale.

Friday’s Juvenile Fillies Turf is race 8 with a scheduled post time of 4:15 pm ET.

Greatest Honour is the sire of seven stakes horses in his first crop. His 2027 fee was recently announced at $10,000 S&N.
