This was the first stakes win for Normandy Coast, who is already a winner in 2025 of an AllowOC at Fair Grounds in January. He broke his maiden in July 2024 at Ellis Park in his second start.

Jockey Ben Curtis stalked the pace in the 5 1/2 furlong race on a sloppy sealed Keeneland track, then gave Normandy Coast some urging from the inside of the leader and dueled in the stretch to pull away to win by 3 1/2 lengths.

Trained by Eddie Kenneally, Normandy Coast is owned by Red Gate Racing who purchased him out of the 2023 Fasig-Tipton October Sale for $60,000. Bred in Kentucky by Haymarket Farm LLC, he is out of the Congrats mare Alliteration.

A winner of three races from 5 starts, Normandy Coast’s total race earnings is now $269,525.
