Top-five First-Crop sire Omaha Beach tallied his second stakes winner of the year on Sept. 24 when Omaha Girl scored a front-running victory in the $65,000 Hallandale Beach S. at Gulfstream Park.

The 2-year-old filly led at every point of call in the one-turn, one mile race. She had a one-length lead through the first half-mile, then widened her margin slightly on the turn, and opened up even more daylight in the stretch to win eased up by 2 ½-lengths.

Omaha Girl has won two of her three lifetime starts and earned $76,110 for AMO Racing USA. A $400,000 Keeneland September sales grad, Omaha Girl was bred in Kentucky by Rosilyn Polan. The chestnut filly is a half-sister to graded stakes winner Abaan and is from the family of multiple graded winner and sire Broken Vow.

Omaha Beach leads all First-Crop sires by stakes horses, with six, and is first by both graded horses and Grade 1 horses.
