Bolt d’Oro’s $260,000 colt, hip No. 3, at the F-T Saratoga Yearling sale – Autry Graham

The day got off to a hot start for the Spendthrift stallion when hip No. 3 brought a top bid of $260,000 from West Point Thoroughbreds. The colt was consigned by Bluewater Sales, agent. The bay youngster is the second foal out of Tarquinia, whose dam Luna Vega, by Malibu Moon, won the Molly Pitcher S. (G2) and placed in the Ruffian H. (G1).

Late in the session hip No. 91, consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, went to Mike Ryan, agent for $200,000. The Kentucky-bred is out of Eyepopnruby, also the dam of stakes winner Midnight Serenade.

Bolt d’Oro has an additional three lots cataloged for Tuesday’s session, which begins at 6:30 p.m. ET.
