Freshman sire Into Mischief had yet another maiden special weight winner from his first crop on Aug.16 when Sittin At the Bar rolled to a 7 3/4-length win [VIDEO] at Evangeline Downs. All three winners by the Spendthrift Farm stallion have come in maiden special weight races.

Sittin At the Bar, also bred by Spendthrift, came from fifth halfway through the 5 1/2-furlong contest in the field of 12 to strike the front a furlong from home, then drew away with lightning quickness in deep stretch.

Now owned by Dale Ladner, Sittin At the Bar picked up $21,000 for the victory. The bay filly is out of Fast Laner, winner of the Dixie Flag S. Ladner purchase Sittin At the Bar for $30,000 at the 2011 Louisiana September yearling sale.
