Omaha Beach sires his second impressive debut winner

The brilliant Omaha Beach sired his second impressive winner from his highly-anticipated first crop of 2-year-olds, as his filly Easy Red overcame a slow start to win on debut in a $80,000 Maiden Special Weight race May 27th at Churchill Downs.

Off as the betting favorite, Easy Red swung widest in the stretch of the five-furlong contest to rally past her rivals and hit the wire in 1:00.10 over a fast local main track. Trained by Doug O’Neill, the talented chestnut filly earned $40,320 for owner Donald Dizney. She was bred in Kentucky by Ron Stolich & Matchstalk Investments.

Omaha Beach has started with a bang in May, siring debut winner Cynane earlier this month at Belmont Park, along with Group 3-placed Launch in Ireland last week.
