Freshman sire Flat Out, already the sire of three stakes horses, got the ninth winner from his first crop on Sunday afternoon when My Niece Luanne easily won a six-furlong maiden race at Gulfstream West.

The dark bay filly, owned by Frank Calabrese and trained by Angel Rodriguez, was a 3 1/2-length winner over the main track.

My Niece Luanne is the first foal out of the stakes-placed Indian Bluff, who is a sister to 11 winners and three stakes horses.

Flat Out's first crop of winners includes Sorority S. winner Pacific Gale, and the stakes-placed duo of Flat Lucky and Flat Out Gittin It.
