Perennial sales-leading sire Malibu Moon’s lots included a $475,000 colt and $300,000 filly at the OBS March Sale of Selected 2-year-olds in Training, which wrapped up its 2-day run on March 16.

The colt, which sold on day 2 as hip No. 413, was consigned by McKathan Brothers and purchased by Hall of Famer Bob Baffert. The dark bay is out of Ask Me When, who is a half-sister to multiple Grade 2 winner Dominus.

The $300,000 filly sold on opening day of the sale. Cataloged as hip No. 11 and consigned by Halycon Hammock Farm, she sold to L.E.B./WSF. A daughter of the stakes-placed Hi Beautiful, the bay juvenile is a full sister to stakes-placed Malibu High.
