Into Mischief filly at her best in Del Mar debut

Into Mischief

Monday, August 18, 2014
Conquest Misbehave closed powerfully over the final quarter mile of the Del Mar surface to score an authoritative 2 1/2-length victory in a 5 1/2-furlong maiden special weight test for 2-year-old fillies on Aug. 17.

The daughter of Into Mischief, bred by Spendthrift Farm in partnership with Brandywine Farm, was bought by her owner Conquest Stable for $250,000 out of this year’s OBS Spring 2-year-old sale.

Conquest Misbehave was a deceptively easy winner, coming from well off the pace to sweep by the leaders in deep stretch, winning going away under a heady ride by Mike Smith (VIDEO).

Into Mischief’s runners have struck at an impressive 60% this year, vaulting him to sixth on the Third Crop Sire list.
