Tiz Wonderful filly opens eyes with sharp Tampa score

Wide Eyed Wonder looked like a seasoned pro in her debut Jan. 24 at Tampa Bay Downs, using a powerful middle move to draw clear then come home a length and a half winner in the six furlong contest for 3-year-old fillies.

The daughter of Tiz Wonderful is a LeAnn Robbins homebred trained by Jane Cibelli. The bay filly, bred in Florida, is out of Holy Manda, a half-sister to stakes winners Pettit's Quest and Wickliffe Man. The female family also includes Grade 2 winner Meadow Monster.

Tiz Wonderful, a top-10 Freshman sire of 2012, had 13 winners from first crop. Leading the way was Grade 3 Tempted S. winner My Happy Face, who has been training smartly at Gulfstream Park for her 2013 debut in this Saturday's Grade 2 Forward Gal S.
